He thin ks the country between the Lachlan and Darling, and the Murrumbidgee and Bogan, will be found to be rich in gold, copper, and tin, and will be the site of vast mining operations as soon as water and capital can be brought to bear upon it. He states that the prospects of alluvial mining are more encouraging than at any time during the past three years.
