Description

1. DEATH’S SHADOW

When Richard Bayly, a local property developer, is diagnosed with a brain tumour he feels the need to confess his sins to Reverend Stephen Wentworth before he dies. Later that night Richard is violently murdered in his own home.

DCI Barnaby can’t understand who would want to kill a dying man. However, he soon learns that Richard’s redevelopment plans for the village were not seen as beneficial by everyone. When another murder is committed, Barnaby and Troy face a race against time to unearth the truth surrounding tragic events from the past to discover the perpetrator.
