Would a meter working under a pressure of less than fifty pounds, say twenty pounds, give the true amount of gas registered, or would the meter reading have to be multiplied by some number to arrive at the true amount of gas passing through it? Say that the dial of the meter shows cu. Ft., and the average pressure was 15 pounds for the twenty-four hours, what should the reading be if not taken as shown by the meter? We have on our gas lease a meter delivering gas to a farmer, and my understanding is that under the pressure at the wells, viz., 45 pounds, we are delivering more gas than the meter shows.
