Because I am a nut, I have several of these in different sizes and shapes. I put fruit under them. They look fantastic. The only thing that I will say badly about them is they do seem to often have slight chipping around the domes, not enough to make them unusable and they certainly don't look the worse for it.
This cake stand is too cute! But I think it is poorly designed for a Maxwell & Williams product. The raw edging on top of the stand and around the bottom of the dome isn't sharp enough to cut you, but can be easily chipped. However, it makes an elegant cheese stand with room for camembert, crackers & grapes.
