Author Biography:

Terry Carter is a San Diego ukulele player, songwriter, and educator. Terry is the creator of Uke Like The Pros and Rock Like The Pros. Terry has worked with some of finest musicians on the planet including, Weezer, Josh Groban, 2 time Grammy winner composer Christopher Tin (Calling All Dawns), The Los Angeles Philharmonic, Robby Krieger (The Doors), and bassist/songwriter Duff McKagen (Guns n' Roses/Velvet Revolver), and producer Charles Goodan (Santana, Rolling Stones). As a composer Terry has written tracks for Scorpion (CBS), Puma, MTV (Trippin', Wildboyz, and The Real World) and Animal Planet (Pitbulls and Parolees). Terry received a Masters of Music in Studio/Jazz Guitar Performance from University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Music from San Diego State University, with an emphasis in Jazz Studies and Music Education. Terry has written the Uke Like The Pros Beginning Music Reading Books For Ukulele, and Rock Like The Pros Beginning Class Guitar Method, Intermediate Class Guitar Method and Advanced Class Guitar Method.
