Set in 2018, Martian Gothic takes place on Vita 1, a base set up on Mars to search for evidense of baterial life beneath the frozen surface. During the search for water beneath the surface of the planet, a giant sarcophaus was found that opened into a huge, ancient necropolis under the base.
