Quite a good adaptation from the book. It's perhaps not the most riveting story but has it's place. You follow Fanny as she grows up and observe her relationships with her relatives and others. Patricuarly interesting is what happens when her uncle goes away overseas and what everyone gets up to. A nice story if you can get over the fact that first cousins get married…which was of course acceptable then!
Unfortunately, it went in the bin. Most of dialog was verbal trivia and then suddenly an awful sex scene.
