After years of being one of the top affluent celebrities in Hollywood, Nick Taylor has become disillusioned with his success. On a whim he decides to accept an "offer he couldn't refuse" to be the leading star in movie of a lifetime, except the only catch is that he has to leave Tinsletown, his glamorous life and prestigious career to actually become his new alias, live as his unknown character and relocate for an undetermined amount of time. Over the last year fate has dealt some heavy blows for Anne, especially the sudden death of her parents. After receiving the tragic news her life drastically changes as she finds herself instantly redirected back to the old Victorian house on the Washington State coast where she grew up, attempting to run a neglected horse boarding facility, raise her younger sister and dream that some kind of miracle would appear enabling her to leave. When a rugged stranger arrives in Westport to help Anne maintain her family business, work on the house and learn how to train horses, she unbelievingly finds her already chaotic life turned dramatically upside down.
