Author Biography

Allan Ahlberg is one of the most acclaimed and successful authors of children's books, particularly in partnership with his wife Janet, who died in 1994. Among his numerous classic picture books are The Jolly Postman books: Burglar Bill; Peepo! and Each Peach Pear Plum. Allan's other books for Walker include the Red Nose Readers; The Mysteries of Zigomar; Monkey Do!; Mockingbird; The Bravest Ever Bear; The Snail House; Treasure Hunt and the second in the series about the Gaskitt family, The Woman Who Won Things.
