Author Biography:

James Kouzes is the Dean's Executive Fellow ofLeadership, Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University,and lectures on leadership around the world to corporations,governments, and nonprofits. Barry Posner is Michael J. Accolti Endowed Professor ofLeadership and former Dean (1997-2009) of the Leavey School ofBusiness, Santa Clara University. An accomplished scholar, he alsoprovides leadership workshops and seminars around the world. Kouzes and Posner are the authors of The LeadershipChallenge, 5th Edition, Credibility, The Truth AboutLeadership, A Leader's Legacy, Encouraging the Heart, andThe Student Leadership Challenge, among many other works.They also developed the highly acclaimed Leadership PracticesInventory (LPI). Steven DeKrey is the 9th president of the Asian Instituteof Management (AIM), in the Philippines. Previously he was thesenior associate dean and director of masters programs for thebusiness school at Hong Kong University of Science andTechnology.
