Logitech Z506 Speaker System reviews

Purchased these about three weeks ago from work, they're great! The sounds quality is amazing, sub is perfect and the volume is incredible. Don't even need to turn the volume dial up past half-way and it's already deafening. As the other review said, I also had trouble placing the rear speakers. Other than that, definitely get these!

Seriously, get these! Unless your willing to pay 500 for the next version up haha. Theyre really good, the only problem I had was finding places for the rear speakers but that is only cause of how my bedroom is set up. Definately happy with my Purchase, thanks Guys!

At this price you get a fully functioning 5.1 system, capable of giving you surround audio and a booming bass reproduction. Yes there's plenty of better quality products that can give you more RMS watt, wider spectrum, more defined sound, overall better quality. If you're looking for an high end system, then put your hand in the wallet and pay hundreds of dollars. If you are looking for value for your bucks, then this is the choice. Highly recommended product.

ive updated from 2.1 and im in heaven though it took a new mother board lol (mine blow up) with 6.1 sound build in lol ( note for those who have 2.1 sound mother boards try trade me for a card or mighty ape about $25)

I have these set in my bedroom, and i love them. It's quite nice to have surround sound, whether im surfing the net or just watching a DVD. The sound and build quality is very good – You'll get more out of your movies especially!

Sick speakers, Only 98 bucks too. Good deal. Well worth it for a low grade 5.1 system.

Good quality highs, and amazing lows. Works well with my pc and xbox.

UPDATE: A year later and the rear of the subwoofer where cables go into has seemingly degraded via the soldering inside. Cord moves 1mm, and cuts out speakers. Issue is the connection point. Bad quality. Speaker set has not moved since installed basically. Had same issue with one set of Logitech X-530's years ago also.

Upgraded from the Logitech X-530 5.1 surround unit which is also very good.

Terrific bass, great high's and mid's, really can't go wrong with this set. Crushes the competition and more expensive sets with great ease. Still yet to find a rival branded speaker set to match this Logitech kit. Audio quality is a clear 8/10, and a 10/10 for the price.

Build quality: The front speakers are lightweight and the cables are not overly long – about 1.5M or something. The heavy front Right speaker cable keeps moving the lightweight speaker out of position as the cable is thick and heavy. Too heavy for the speaker itself. The cable touching the desk keeps ‘tipping’ the speaker over or turning it as it is so heavy.

Took about 10 minutes for the speaker to sit still on the desk as the cable kept turning/moving the speaker out of position. Highly aggravating. No other speaker has the issue that the front right speaker has luckily.

The Rear speakers are light like the rest, but the cables are possibly TOO long. I feel as if they could have taken some length from the rear speaker cables and added it to the front speakers…

To sum it up, this is probably the greatest speaker kit you will find short of spending over $500. Your next upgrade from this would be to buy a home AV receiver and some giant floor standing speakers…

Sound is amazing, and the bass is very very nice. Also the speakers look very nice and don't feel cheap. Absolutely awesome, is well worth the price it has been listed on Mightyape.

Daaaamn, I wasn't expecting much since these are pretty cheap, I have them set up around my monitor with the sub under my desk and I have to say I am impressed, band for your buck! Crisp with nice kicking bass. Love them!

Definitely a great deal. Better than the overpriced shops… Only downside to this is all the cords for every single speaker…

These speakers are fantastic! I use them for my laptop, ipod and ps3 with no problems and excellent sound! A must!

I would highly recommend these speakers. The sound is great brilliant for bedroom surround sound. The bass is adjustable, intense when turned all the way up and the volume very rarely needs to be turned up past 50%. Amazing value for your money.

Love my new speakers sound and bass is great and the price is great I saved nearly $100 buying through mighty ape and delivery was faster then expected .I highly recommend buying through mighty ape I know I'll be a regular customer from now on thanks Mighty Ape !!!

Terrific item,just what I needed to complement my system.Easy to setup ( important when you are an old techno phobe,lol)

Wasn't expecting much for the price but it's exceptional. Bass response is great,easy setup and full dynamic range. I use it through my television and it gives a cinema experience without even needing to push it past 30%. Excellent system.

Found them Ideal. Good stereo Sound, Once plugged into stereo jack On woofer box. Works Well with my PC Computer. Close to the Logitech 200w sound system,which is.Available over $200 Dollars.This I got On a special $109.00 Christmas 2017 plus 20 dollars postage.From Mighty Ape.

This system has changed my PC audio experience completely. Music, games and movies have taken on new life, with a greater depth of sound and an improved quality beyond my expectations. Easy and quick to set up, simple control features and all for a very reasonable price.

Great set of speakers for a great price.

The surround is amazing. I'd recommend it to anyone who would like some low price speaker's in their room or lounge. But if you want them to fit in each corner of your room you might need to buy some AV adapter cables, so that the two back speakers can reach the back of your room, because mine are just a little to short from the back of my room I have them in.

Certainly requires a little bit of cable management to set up however once they're going they are fine. For $100.00 I'm very happy and there's nothing better than coming home, turning the volume up and belting out your favorite Spotify playlist. My only complaints would be the hard to place middle/back speaker and the absence of a bass dial on the speaker with the power and volume dial on it.

Reasonable price.

If you have a next gen console and want to use this system with the ps4 or Xbox 1 you'll need to purchase a HDMI splitter for it other then that is a great product

These speakers really surprised me with their build quality and of course, sound quality. If you're looking for speakers for your bedroom, computer or maybe a second tv then these will suit your needs well and for the price you can't go wrong.

Great speakers that blew me away exceeding my expectations, these would have to be the best pc/gaming speakers at a reasonable price unless you want to spend a few hundred dollars on the next model up so I highly recommend them, thanks mightyape

I expected this to be good, yes. This system definitely exceeded my expectations, for some small things these can really pump the bass and volume. I've bought well over 20 items from MightyApe and I have to say this is the best buy i've made. 10/10

Very nice we speakers and nice and cheap to and no real increase in power bill that was good.

Good quality speaker for the price paid, found that theres a slight crackling when the volume is turned up.

Definately worth every cent, I use this system for gaming and listening to music and its great

My room is fairly big and after installing this system to work with my ps4, ps3 and computer with my tv, I haven't regretted purchasing this product. If you are in need of a cheap system that has decent sound then go for this one!

Wasn't to sure how good the bass was going to be but it is perfect for a single room. I like my music loud and with these I never turn the volume up past halfway.

Amazing 5.1 sound from a system that costs less than 1/4 the price than other units. Great having two audio inputs, one from comp and, one from tv/other. Easy way to wake the neighbours. Well worth the price. Shame rear speakers don't have a way of being hung/wall mounted.

what can i say 75 watts don't sound like much but when you here em best $100 i ever spent now i just need a MOBO with a on board hd sound card for the 5.1 surround sound feature i still use the system but just running of the green headphone jack and it sounds GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD no lie ch ch mighty ape u done it again :o)

Bought these from a diff site but they put out wicked sounds and can handel alot well worth buying I would say!
