"The Best Movie EEEEEVER!!!"
5 stars"

This is honestly one of the best movies ever… watch it over and over again at the talent that the actors bring to the movie. Both singing and acting it is a great movie over all. Best of all it is like ‘Rocky Horror Picture Show’; another great musical and both of them so original. A tale of a man who is poor.

His life going nowhere as he works in a Flower shop on Skid Row. He finds a small unusual plant that grows and brings the small flower shop major publicity. Until the poor man find the plant getting hungry and demanding human lood. And what starts off as blood turns to wanting something of a larger scale.

I love watching movies that I loved when I was younger to my own children, this is one such film. My boys were sceptical to say the least when I explained it was a mucical about a carniverous plant, but they watched it anyway, and they loved it, they have watched it several times now (definite proff as they only watch things they REALLY like more than once). So – it might be old, it might be schlocky but its good wholesome fun for the family and it was great to see those famous actors when they were younger (Steve Martin and Bill Murray deserve a A+ for this movie – brilliant!)

Description

A Singing Plant. A Daring Hero. A Sweet Girl. A Demented Dentist.

In the musical film version of Roger Corman's B-movie classic, poor Seymour Krelborn (Rick Moranis) is a downtrodden geek who never has things go his way. He works in Mr Mushnik's (Vincent Gardenia) run-down flower shop in the seedy part of town, thanklessly doing menial tasks and secretly dreaming of buxom, shrill-voiced shop assistant Audrey (Ellen Greene). His other passion, collecting strange plants, leads him to bring home a small flytrap which he discovers following a solar eclipse and names Audrey II.

While nurturing Audrey II (voiced by The Four Tops' Levi Stubbs) Seymour discovers some of the plant's unique features: it is in fact a "Mean Green Mother From Outer Space" that talks, sings and survives on a diet of human blood! Needing a regular source of Audrey II's favourite food, Seymour embarks on a plan to kill Audrey's boyfriend, the sadistic, motorbike-riding, nitrous-oxide addict dentist Orin Scrivello (a hilarious cameo from Steve Martin) which would also leave the way clear for Seymour and Audrey's love to bloom. But will this be enough to satisfy the plant's lust for blood, or must Seymour take more drastic measures?
