Description

Wilkie Collins was an English novelist, poet, and playwright writing in the mid 19th century. His writing was very popular consisting of 27 novels, 50 short stories, 15 plays, and over 100 poems. His best-known works were The Woman in White, The Moonstone and Armadale. Collins was greatly influenced by his friend Charles Dickens. Little Novels contains Mrs. Zant and the ghost -- Miss Morris and the stranger -- Mr. Cosway and the landlady -- Mr. Medhurst and the princess -- Mr. Lismore and the widow -- Miss Jeromette and the clergyman -- Miss Mina and the groom -- Mr. Lepel and the housekeeper -- Mr. Captain and the nymph -- Mr. Marmaduke and the minister -- Mr. Percy and the prophet -- Miss Bertha and the Yankee -- Miss Dulane and my lord -- Mr. Policeman and the cook.
