It's Blue Monster's first day at Monster Academy and Little Green Monster thinks it's really funny to call him rude names. Fat face! Jelly belly! Spotty botty! So how come no one else is laughing? Jeanne Willis has had a successful career working in advertising and as an author, writing over eighty picture books, poetry books, television scripts and novels for children. Her teenage novel Naked Without a Hat was shortlisted for the Whitbread Children's Book Award and Dumb Creatures was longlisted for the Carnegie Medal.
