Professor Norman Longworth is one of the world's foremost authorities on lifelong learning and, in particular, learning cities and learning communities. He has held posts of responsibility in all sectors of the education industry and is currently Vice President of the World Initiative on Lifelong Learning and Visiting Professor of Lifelong Learning at a number of academic institutions including Napier University, the University of Stirling and Toulouse Business School.
