"A total must read!"
5 stars"

I laughed, I cried, I had all the feelings at this honest, often raw, story from two inspirational people. Kia kaha Kaiora and Francis! Keep up the good mahi!

Have throughly enjoyed reading this book. Brings another dimension to both Fancis and Kaiora personal, professional and family life. Highly recommend this book as a must read.

"A Gift for Mum"
5 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

Mum had been looking for a copy of this book everywhere but no book store had a copy until I mentioned that they were selling copies here on Mighty Ape. She had planned to get hold of one till I I surprised her by saying I had already placed an order for her. She's a fan of their TV series which is why I got it for her and well hehe admittedly a very late Mother's Day gift. So thanks heaps Mighty Ape, Mum loves the book!!!

"Interesting read"

The book is well written and almost reads like Francis and Kaiora are taking to you. It was an amazing insight into their lives growing up, the adventures they went on and what lead them into their chosen career. I loved the explanation about the processes, tikanga and protocols and also the highlighted similarities and differences between a Maori and a pakeha funeral and what we have learnt from each other.
