This was an unexpected joy to read! Elizabeth Zott stands out as a fantastic character â wanting to be treated as a fellow chemist by her colleagues, but with it being the 60âs, this is not something that is regarded as being suitable for women. The story was so engrossing, I didnât want it to end. All the characters are memorable â I loved Six-Thirty, the dog that knows over 600 words â but I loved Elizabeth & her unwavering belief that women have just as much worth as men. This story stole my heart & I didnât want it to end. I would recommend this story to everyone â it really is a unique & wonderful story that everyone should experience.
