Such a great build, I'm enjoying putting this set together. There's lots of colour, cool characters and an epic pirate ship in the end.

Fantastic set, great nostalgia and it looks amazing. If you are considering this, just go for it, you will not be disappointed.
I'd give it 3.5 stars if I could. For a modern set it is quite compact thanks to the (base)plates which are also of beautiful azure colour. The build is engaging, but construction of the fore-mast was frustrating, it seems the instructions would need to be slightly adjusted (sequence of steps needs changing). Overall a nice tribute to the original pirates theme and a brilliant full ship conversion option. Other than this, the set does not have quite as much playability as one would hope.
