Okay, so, does it cut paper. Yes. But… It does not cut thicker paper well. The guillotine blade is not very sharp. The guides are comprehensive enough, but if you, like me, are slightly hard of seeing, that blur makes life hard. The sides of the paper area are not at a 90 degree sharp angle to the cutting line, so you can't rely on that, they are at a slight angle. Why? Why would you do that? Foolish design choice.
