Bill Owens' son just didn't cut the mustard, but we liked other new characters.
Far better than series 21 & 22.
When you’re with old friends at this quiet Yorkshire beauty-spot, fun and games are always just around the corner. There’s Howard, trying to hide from Pearl the giant singing garden gnome he’s bought for Marina. There’s Billy Ingleton (Norman Wisdom), restoring a fairground organ. And of course, there’s Wesley. Not content with a vending machine that belches inappropriate, untimely noises, he’s got a flaming mobile barbeque that’s a danger to low-flying aircraft, and a havoc-causing hydraulic digger that’s the spit of a prehistoric beast.
