Author Biography
Jill Murphy is one of this country's best-known authors and illustrators. She wrote and illustrated her first book, the classic The Worst Witch, while only eighteen. As well as winning awards for the Large Family series, she won the 1995 Smarties Book Prize for The Last Noo-noo (9780744598353). Jill lives in Bodmin, Cornwall.
