Captivating from the get go, this series is hilarious!! Take an average teenage high school student and have them sucked into another universe where suddenly he's called a Demon Lord, ruler of all! The poor guy can't get a break when seemingly normal reactions to certain situations have bizarre cultural consequences.
For the length of the series I would usually get board or overloaded half way through but the stories in each episode were intriguing and fresh that it was over before I knew it. If you aren't sure when deciding to purchase a new series, do try this one of you want to be laughing all the way.

This has to be one of the most constantly funny anime series i've come across. It also has action, but everythings outlined with humor. Its absolutley captivating, it grabs and holds your attention, even through ALL of the 9 dvds. Though the animation itself can be a bit crude (look really strange when they run), i loved it so much i watched the WHOLE thing twice.
