Kinship and Marriage Among the Anlo Ewe by G.K. Nukunya
Sorry, this product is not currently available to order

The Anlo, the most numerous of the Ewe people of Ghana and Togo, have a remarkable descent system which balances a patrilineal ideology with unusually strong matrilateral ties. This system impacts on the Anlo's complex process of landlording whereby adjustments are made by the exercise of claims through maternal kin. This text studies the kinship system of the Anlo.
