"A time-capsule of a PS2 RPG Classic"

Nearly 20 years of waiting. I’ve moved on, but Kingdom Hearts hasn’t. While a competent title. You can breeze through a lacking amount of worlds and story within 20–30 hours. There is some side content, there seems to be something lacking.

"Kind of Average"

Games not bad. Has some cool twists in it that I wasn't expecting, however, pacing is really off. Not only that, but the games REALLY short, and it doesnt feel satisfying once completed.

"Terrible"
2 stars"

This game has no flow. My controller spent most of the idle as cut scene after cut scene. You might get 5 maybe 10 minutes of actual gameplay before another cut scene. I didn’t finish this game, purely because I wanted to play a game, and not watch a poorly scripted Disney movie and confusing plot. Plus, where are all the FF characters- This is why I refuse to buy SquareEnix now, rubbish

"Makes every game other feel unnecessary"
3 stars"

I feel as though they should have just released KH, KH2, BBS, AND DDD and the story could have been cohesive, coherent and much less of a slog. Although, they do make every entry relevant to the plot, it just feels like too much at times. Honestly dont see why it took this game so long to be released with what we get in the final product.

"Worth the 13 year wait!"
5 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

Finally! Its been a long wait, and now the true sequel is out I got it say that this is what I'm expecting from the 3rd main game! All credits goes to Square Enix, Disney & Pixar for adding their contributions into this lengthy-as project!

Recommended for all! :D

"A Film with Gameplay"
3 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

As a disclaimer, I've only played Kingdom Hearts I and II. Anyway, I was excited to play this game but after finishing it in a couple of weeks, I found myself a little disappointed.

First, the game's story is so convoluted, that you either need to watch a video that summarizes the story so far, or have played the previous games between Kingdom Hearts II and III.

Second, this game contained so many cut-scenes, some I find unnecessary. I basically ended up watching several films as some of the worlds basically repeated their film counterparts like Tangled.

Lastly, the controls (especially during combat) feels sticky. What I mean is, there is a lot of waiting for animations to finish, which is not good for an action game. You'll trip over yourself more often than not and you'll find some enemy attacks almost unavoidable because your character insists on finishing an animation such as landing, dashing, or finishing a combo.

If you don't mind these, then you're going to enjoy the game. Despite my review, I still enjoyed Kingdom Hearts III. But with that said, I wouldn't play this again.

"Worth the Wait"
5 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

Ive been waiting for this game ever since it was but a glint in Nomura's eye – and now that its finally here I'm ecstatic. Each world is almost a new game of its own, and well worth the wait for release.

"Not worth the time or money"
2 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

Like many KH fans, having waited over 10 years for KH3 to be released only to be incredibly disappointed. Convoluted storyline – there's like 6 games between KH2 and KH3. If you've only played KH1 and KH2 then you won't know what the heck happened all in between.

I should also mention that the game is literally hit triangle to win. Boring.
