I bought 1 that arrived with the cushioning detached from the wood sending beads everywhere. Mighty Ape was kind enough to replace it free of charge but I can see the glue connecting the cushion to the wood already coming off.

It holds the tablet securely but the tablet groove is deep making it hard to access the very edge of the bottom of the display. If you don’t access to very bottom (5mm on my iPad) then it’s a very good option.

Overall quality is pretty decent. The wood is rather light in weight, and thus supporting and iPad on its own is not really possible. Some advice for potential buyers: Its smaller than expected. Despite having the measurements in the description, I mentally thought it would be bigger, haha!
The iPad slot won’t handle anything but a thin silicone case and the lap desk isn’t strong enough to hold a device IPad with confidence but I didn’t purchase for IPad use so I do like it. Fits my 14 inch laptop perfectly and feels good quality and sturdy enough.
