Very professional looking and has a good solid feel. Trackball flows easily and is of a decent size. The four mouse click buttons have a decent tactile feel and response. All up there are six functions from the four click buttons and they can all be set to your preference via the easy downloadable file from the Kensington webpage. You have your left and right clicks and two other left and right buttons to use for whatever you wish to set up. On top of this you can set the buttons where you push the top left and top right click simultaneously for another function of your choice; for example a middle click. The same can be done with the lower two. Because you are able to set whatever click button to your liking you can have your left and right click however you want; bottom row, top and bottom one side or whatever you wish. As such, this mouse should be ideal for left-handed people – the mouse slopes only vertically towards you and not on a sideways lean, as is often found in other ‘mouses.’ The ‘O’ ring surrounding the trackball allows for very quick navigation up and down pages and saves you going from keyboard to mouse and back again. The only thing I found a little off-putting at first was the slightly scratchy feeling when turning the scroll ring. I think this is most likely part of how it's constructed. Anyway, I got used to it fairly quickly and it's by no means a problem or any obstruction to your workflow. There's also no more having to keep moving your mouse repeatedly because you ran out of room navigating on your mousepad. This is by far the best, most practical and enjoyable mouse I have ever used – and I've used A LOT! They say that you ‘get what you pay for’, and this mouse is definitely worth the extra cash outlay compared to a basic one.
