Author Biography:

David Cooke is a military historian, author and battlefield guide. His previous publications include The Forgotten Battle: The Battle of Adwalton Moor, Seven Feet of Earth: The Battle of Stamford Bridge and The Civil War in Yorkshire: Newcastle versus Fairfax. Wayne Evans has made a close study of the Battle of the Bulge and has often visited the Ardennes to see the terrain over which the battle was fought.
