Description

Jimi Hendrix:
Offstage he was withdrawn, almost shy. Onstage he strapped on his kiss-the-sky Stratocaster and shattered all notions of how a guitar could be played.
In this tribute authorised by his estate, Jimi Hendrix comes to vivid l life in funny and touching recollections by family, friends and other legends of rock like Eric Clapton, Mick Jagger, Peter Townshend and Little Richard. Best of all are electrifying concert performances from the Monterey, Woodstock and Isle of Whight Festivals, London's Marquee Club and the Fillmore East. From blazing Purple Haze to a driving Machine Gun, to a flamboyant Wild Thing, to a soulful Hear My Train A Comin', Jimi Hendrix pulls out all the stops.

The Song Remains The Same:
The pioneers of hard rock take the stage - and blow your mind. Rock's premier metalmen LED ZEPPELIN, whose blend of gutsy blues and scathing rock catapulted them into the music world's pantheon, take you on a spellbinding journey of song and imagination. This high-impact movie captures the group's legendary 1973 Madison Square Garden concert stand and uncorks a freewheeling mix of scenes showing group members at home and in elaborate fantasy settings. Robert Plaant's raw lead vocals, Jimmy Page's explosive riffery and the sonic-boom rhythm wall of bassist John Paul Jones and drummer John Bonham all swirl, clash and collide - on classic tunes like Stairway to Heaven, Dazed and Confused, Whole Lotta Love and many others. No one goes down heavier than Zep!

Woodstock - Director's Cut:
An intimate look at the Woodstock Music and Art Festival held in Bethel, NY in 1969, from preparation through cleanup, with historic access to insiders, blistering concert footage, and portraits of the concertgoers; negative and positive aspects are shown, from drug use by performers to naked fans sliding in the mud, from the collapse of the fences by the unexpected hordes to the surreal arrival of National Guard helicopters with food and medical assistance for the impromptu city of 500,000.
