This is quite a good mix of action, shooting and stealth. The graphics are good and the set pieces look really good with explosions etc. No gadgets like some of the previous Bond games. The game does jump around a bit so if you want the story to make sense you need to have seen the last 2 films recently or you won't know what's going on (if you care about the story). It's quite linear so there's no replay value for the single player. Watch out for the end credits, they're about 10min long and unskippable, and there's no easter egg for watching.

"Good James Bond Game on PC"
4 stars"

This game is awesome you do missions that are actually in the movie “Casino Royale” and “Quantum of Solace” which makes it fun. It also features the Call of Duty 4 engine "The same controls and abilities e.g shoot through walls and same aiming system etc. (well it's made by the same company so yeah). highly recommended 9.5/10 no problems its just not the best it could be but its sooooo fun.

"Good but could be better x2"

Good graphics and sound & the choice of weapons is entertaining. Very detailed and realistic scenery and the use of buildings is good too. The potential for exploring the immediate environment could be greater but it isn't lacking & there are always limits to this. The lack of opportunity to make use of vehicles (including the plane in Bolivia), is disappointing. The worst thing I find are the take-downs; the targetting tool can be very difficult to use even beyond it's intended challenges.

"Not so great"

A promising game but fails to deliver. A lot of the cut-scenes are literally taken straight out of the movie which gives it an excellent feel, but then you get into the action and the frustration starts to kick in.

For a start it should be said that this is primarily a console game that has been ported to the PC. Anyone expecting a proper FPS or FPS/RPG experience will be disappointed. If you are used to console games and console controllers then go for it, but if you expect a serious PC gaming experience you're not going to get it here.

I will say that the missions are pretty good and the setting and graphics are good enough. However it has the feel of a childrens educational game that is catering to those with goldfish-length attention spans. The most annoying thing is that whenever the gameplay gets intense (eg: chasing a target over some kind of obstacle that requires a deft hand to avoid falling off, or creeping up on a target from behind in order to perform a stealth kill) the game drops into some kind of silly mini-game that completely kills the atmosphere. You stop thinking about the action, and instead have to concentrate on keeping the ball in the middle of a balance bar, or putting the mouse cursor into a randomly placed target reticle about three times. And make a mistake in these mini-games and you're dead.

Frankly it gets old very fast.

Good grahpics & the choice of weapons is entertaining but apart from line em up and gun em down there isn't much to it. Some of the chapters offer considerably more potential for exploration of the immediate environment than are made possible. The lack of opportunity to make use of vehicles (including the plane in Bolivia), is also disappointing.
