Description

Jon Paul Gordon losses his wife on an auto accident. There is no way he can get over her while living in the house they built as their dream home. She was the love of his life and now she's gone. He escapes, moving to Appleby, a small remote town in west Texas. He begins to lean heavily on the liquor bottle to soothe the pain of his loss. He makes a devoted friend in Homer, an odd looking dog. Through Homer, Jon Paul meets the local veterinarian, Dr. Nancy Reyna, who lost her husband in an accident years ago. During one drunken period, Jon Paul meets some unusual friends and shortly after, strange things start to happen. Could the unusual friends be the cause of animals disappearing and could humans be next. How will Jon Paul, Nancy, and Homer deal with these unexplainable happenings?
