Description

This book is part of a series that provides thematic chapters in order to incorporate historical enquiries and examine change over time. It features topics within Unit Two of the Key Stage Three National Curriculum for history and integrates aspects of the Key Stage Three strategy to encourage better teaching of the subject, placing it in the context of literacy, ICT and citizenship. The Foundation texts are specifically tailored to the needs of less able students and can be used alongside the mainstream textx in classes of mixed ability. Summative tasks are included in the book, connecting the various historical issues and providing excellent opportunities for extended work and assessment.
