Description

Information Processing and Technology covers all aspects of the NSW Preliminary Information Processing and Technology course with comprehensive coverage of the three major sections of the syllabus: Introduction; Tools; and Planning. Each section will have a brief introduction to focus students on the important concepts and will conclude with a challenging set of focus questions. The chapters will include a range of reinforcement and revision material and skills will be addressed at the end of each section using a wide range of applications. Numerous screen dumps are included to assist students to understand and apply a wide variety of computer software programs. A glossary of terms will allow easy reference to concepts used in the course.

Author Biography

Carole Wilson is a Learning Support Technology Coordinator with more than 15 years experience teaching computing to middle and upper secondary students. She has run in-service to teachers on the application of technology in the classroom and has industry experience in the development of Intranets and Internet sites.
