How to describe driving around a oval track at 235 MPH (376KPH) is pretty difficult to put into words. But tell you this, it is very exciting, with up to 32 other cars on track with you, the race is bound to be action packed.

The game itself is very accessible, and pick up and play is certinly there, where you can start a race in the legendry Indianapolis 500, off the main menu. The controls are basic, but as basic as the tracks look, so require you be at full concentration 100% of the time, let your concentration slip, and youll find yourself in a wall. There is 14 speedways to choose from, each with their own characteristics, and where 0.5 degree in the wing angle can make a huge difference, i hope your up to the challenge.

Theres 4 game modes, Full Season, where you compete in a full season in the I.R.L. Masterclass, where Eddie Cheever teaches you the basics on how to drive an Indy Car, and how to set quicker lap times, Qucik Race, where you choose a track, and then go racing at 200MPH, and of course, a multiplayer, where you can beat the pants of your friends!

I have to say, i love this game, and the track detail is superb, and the replay graphics leave me wondering if im watching the race on TV. Also the ability to create your own driver, and the stack of unlockables, will keep you going at it for ages.
