Beth Dooley arrived in Minnesota from her native New Jersey with preconceptions about the Midwestern food scene. Author Biography:

Beth Dooley is the author of six books and cookbooks including, with Lucia Watson, Savoring the Seasons of the Northern Heartland (a James Beard Nominee) and Minnesota's Bounty: The Farmers Market Cookbook. A frequent guest on American Public Radio's The Splendid Table, she also writes for the Star Tribune and other publications. She lives in Minneapolis.
