Author Biography:

The author, Patricia Kendell, writes material to help children understand why wildlife is in danger and what they can do to help. She is also a part-time Education Officer with WWF-UK. The consultant, Karen Paolillo, was the first woman to obtain a Professional Safari Guide Licence in Zimbabwe. She is the founder of the Turgwe Hippo Trust, a non-profit-making organization for the conservation of hippos.
