"In the Presence of the Lord" is a collection of 27 sermons based on scripture texts from the Psalms and 10 of the prophetic books. The sermons were preached in Navy chapels and civilian churches over a period of more than 10 years. This book is one of three Old Testament volumes of sermons that will eventually be published. The series will eventually number 11, with a volume for each of the four Gospels, two from the Letters of Paul, and two volumes focused on Christmas and Easter, respectively.This volume provides five indices to assist the reader to make the most of the material inside.

Author Biography:

Dr. Al Hill spent 28 years on active duty as a Navy Chaplain, preaching in base chapels, aboard ships, on sandy beaches and out in the woods. After he retired, he spent eight years pastoring churches in Pinehurst, North Carolina, including a new church: Trinity Christian Fellowship. He now lives in Chesapeake, Virginia, and devotes himself to publishing materials to support the life and worship of the Church.
