The author was a member of a working party for the National Advisory Group for special educational needs, with a remit to assist with the revision of the Code. Author Biography

Dr Ahmad Ramjhun, is an Education Officer with responsibility for children with special educational needs for Southampton City Council. He previously held similar posts in Hampshire and is a chartered psychologist with many years of professional practice and experience as a child and educational psychologist.
