Description

The importance of the child's imaginative life is recognised in "Imaginary Dances". With the use of evocative language, visualisation, movement suggestions and clear frameworks for creativity, the teacher is guided through the process of making and shaping dances. Nine different projects altogether provide a wealth of ideas in a visually stimulating layout. "Imaginary Dances" is suitable for primary schools including Special Needs and will also be useful to other groups of all ages. It is in line with the National Curriculum and is appropriate both for non-specialist teachers wanting clear guidance and for those wishing to increase their skills and range of possibilities. This is a reprint of a book first published in 1998.
