Description

"Flowers blossom, leaves unfold, Mama bird lays an egg of gold." It is evening in the garden, and the world is full of the signs of spring - flowers are budding, grass is growing...and in a nest high in the treetops, a little egg is hatching. Over the course of a day, from dawn till twilight, a baby sparrow is cared for by his parents, until he falls asleep under the soft light of the crescent moon. Beautifully written and illustrated by Debi Gliori, this charming book is one in a series of four new Buggy Buddies, with beautiful sparkly silver and gold foil highlights on every spread. The added novelty of the handy Buggy Buddies strap means you can bring this special story with you, wherever you go!
