Description

Excerpt from History of Two Queens, Vol. 1: I. Catharine of Aragon, II. Anne Boleyn To group around the figures of two crowned and starless women the events of which they were the leading types and memorable Victims is the purpose of this work. While collecting my materials, I have Visited all the places in which my story lies. Many years ago I first went to the Alhambra; and in after yearsviii preface.
