Author MICHAEL ANDREWS has long been a friend of historic preservation, both during his time as a U.S. Congressman from Texas and later as a member of the Board of Trustees of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. He is an attorney practicing in Washington, D.C., where he lives with his wife, Ann.
