Description

Jasper is a young man out of school who works at his girlfriend's farm. His world seems to be perfect until one day when Penny (his girlfriend), asks him what is their plan for the next ten tears... believing there is more to life than just milking cows. Jasper doesn't see any need to change anything, which drives Penny up the wall even more. Francis and Morris are Jasper's best friends. The three boys would play pranks on the townsfolk together, but now that they're older... the fun of it seems to be gone. At a picnic, Francis and Morris toss around the idea of tricking Jasper into thinking he's a vampire... which they do! While he's sleeping on the couch, they turn loose a bat... and tase him on the neck. After they get the bat out, Jasper says his neck hurts. After examination, the boys tell him it must have been a vampire bat! Jasper's world is rocked on end, as he breaks up with Penny and tries to stay out of the sun. The boys rig up a pontoon to take Aunt Chelsie fishing on her scooter, with a ramp onto the boat and ratchet straps to hold the chair in place. Having become a bystander in life... when Jasper sees Aunt Chelsie's dream come true, he realizes that helping other people with their heart's desires is what life is all about.
