Fearless pirate, Captain Cut-Throat, doesn't believe in monsters. When he and his dastardly crew set sail for a treasure island, they must first pass through THE MIST and as legend tells it, THERE BE MONSTERS IN THE MIST! But as the Captain says, monsters simply don't exist. But then who or what is gobbling up the Crew?
Author Biography
Jonathan Emmett is an internationally successful author and paper engineer. His many books for Macmillan include The Santa Trap winner of the Hampshire Illustrated Book Award 2011 and The Princess and the Pig, winner of the Hillingdon Book of the Year Award 2012. Poly Bernatene studied drawing and painting at the Buenos Aires School of Fine Art, where he is now a visiting professor. As well as working in animation and comics, Poly has illustrated over 60 children's books. He lives in Argentina with his wife and his two children.
