Remember those Jim Beam ads in the early nineties??? That was Kevin Sorbo before he landed the part of Hercules. Entirely shot on location in New Zealand at mostly Te Henga (Bethells Beach), the old Lion Park, Henderson and the studios in Rosedale Rd Avondale, this quirky series of the mythical Hercules, his journeys through old Greece and his adventures with his friend Iolaus (Michael Hurst) as they battle all sorts of creatures along the way.
The first Season is fairly short with only thirteen episodes, however its boosted with the 5Â H:TLJ TV movies that accompany the package. The movies are in no particular order of sequence.
Seven Seasons were made of these series including the spinoff Xena: Warrior Princess.
