Author Biography:

James Y. Nazroo is Professor of Medical Sociology in the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health, UCL. He is author of Ethnicity, Class and Health and joint editor of the journal Ethnicity and Health. Ethnic inequalities in health have been a major focus of his research. Central to this has been improving our understanding the links between ethnicity, racism, class and inequality.
