Description

This new book from Wolfgang Publications shows the how and why of performance engine building with over 500 color photos. Not a what-to-buy-book--this is a how-to-build book. Each chapter covers a specific subassembly of the Twin-Cam motor. The reader can pick and choose what chapters they need at the time, be it porting a set of heads, installing cams, assembling a flywheel assembly, or installing a big-bore kit.Written by Timothy Remus and the crew at R&R Cycles (builders of the engine in Jody Perewitz' first Bonneville record breaker, this book walks the reader through two complete assemblies. For anyone who takes pride in doing most of his or her own work, this is the book you need. From a simple rebuild to a complete motor built from scratch, the how-to information and photo sequences you need are right here.

Author Biography:

Long time motorhead Timothy Remus is the author of over thirty titles: everything from lifestyle books including Bean're, Motorcycle Nomad; to how-to books such as Cheap Chopper. As president of his own small publishing company, Wolfgang Publications, the former auto mechanic also publishes five to ten books each year for other authors. Tim reports that the twin responsibilities of writing and publishing leave him with limited free time for the really important things: riding motorcycles and working on projects in the garage.
