In "Hannibal Goes to the Hospital" the Barkers learn about the dangers of fire and what true friendship and family are all about. They are reminded of a valuable safety lesson about fire. The mice are faced with the knowledge that accidents can happen even when they are trying to be careful, and Hannibal learns that running with flames chasing him is not a good thing - Stop, Drop and Roll becomes the lesson of the day for The Barkers. Character/Safety Lesson: Fire Safety -- Never play with matches or fire. Only an adult should strike a match to light a fire or a lamp. If you are caught in a burning building stay close to the floor and crawl toward an exit; if you catch on fire, stop moving and drop and roll to put out the flames.
