Peter Dent was born in Forest Gate, London in 1938. he amrrie and began taking writing seriously in the early Sixties. After working in offices and a library he trained for teaching, from which he retired in 1991. He ran Interim Press for twelve years, publishing a number of books by or on individual writers and artists; his own work has appeared in many pamphlets, magazines and anthologies. He currently lives in Budleigh Salterton, Devon, where he continues his 'negotiations with words'.
