Halo 3 Legendary Edition previews

Must have for all gamers, not necessarily the legendary edition but Halo 3 anyway. Come on, we all must admit that Halo 3 was THE game we bought our 360 for, all the other great games and features were just a bonus lol. The Beta was an awesome experience and the multiplayer of the actual game promises to be even better.

Personally can't wait, (even though I have to wait 2 weeks longer for my legendary edition than others since I'm going to the Gold Coast on the 25th of September, bad holiday planning indeed lol)

I cant rate halo 3 yet because its not out but i can rate the beta which gets a nine and a half out of ten 9.5/10 so if the game is better than the beta(which it should be) then september and november are going to rack up some dough for microsoft.

I personally know someone who is buying a xbox 360 just so he can play halo 3 and if that is any indication to what is going to happen when this game is released then i see a few xboxs being sold over the next few months.

All and all this is going to be the FPS of the year(and many to come probaly) if not the game of the year a definite must buy even if it is only going to be the normal version.

Just Because Sony couldn't think of a game like Halo does not mean that ps3 loves can make fun of one of the best games series that has ever been made.

Halo 3 is going to be brilliant. Forge, Campaign, what more could you want?

I don't yet have an Xbox 360, (or an Xbox, just a PS2,) but I've already preordered this game because I know it's going to be good. You can tell just from the beta. Of course I've only seen videos of it but the multiplayer looks like it's going to be even better than Halo 2's – it's probably the only FPS that lets you customise your games so much.

Although the price is quite high for a game, Halo 3 is well worth it. This edition comes with Master Chiefs helmet, which is awesome and a true collectors item, not to mention all the other extras as well! But what everyone is looking forward to is the game itself. Halo is the game that made Xboxs worth buying, and was an enjoyable gaming experience, especially on co-op mode. The story, graphics and gameplay were amazing. For those who seem to hate Halo, then they must be one of those who obssess over the Playstation and the obvious fact that Sony have not released any breakthrough, highly popular games like Halo. Halo 3 is going to be the game of 2007, as it is the story, the characters and gameplay that have set the Halo series above all other shooter games. Halo truly does sell Xboxs, as it is a gaming experience like no other, and is definitely well worth the purchase and time to play. It will be remembered for years to come, and no other shooters will be able to beat is gameplay and movei like experience. Halo 3 will be the final end to the trilogy, and the graphics will be outstanding, the story will be engaging and all the same gameplay and movie like experience will be there, which has made the Halo series so famous. The Halo games are the only FPS I play, as they are very fun on co-op mode, and I am bored of the other shooters like Gears of War and Call of Duty. The Halo games are the only FPS games worth buying if you choose to purchase a shooting game. Halo 3 will not disappoint anyone. Not long to go now…

Anyone who a.) thinks halo 3 will be complete crap because of their opinion (which they somehow think is fact) on halo 2's storyline or b.) “knows” that halo 3 will be good because of some obscure reason is considered a fanboy or an idiot in my books. This includes the last 2 people who reviewed halo 3.

I personally think that halo 3 is going to turn out well because it looks like it's shaping up nicely. Bungie have apparently learned from their mistakes and are fixing them for halo 3. I did enjoy halo 2, no i'm not telling you that you are retarded if you didn't like it. It's my opinion. Not yours. I do agree that halo 3 will sell 360s, and i do think that certain ps3 liking individuals (I'm not a 360 only guy, also. I love the ps3) are hassling halo 3 just because of all the hype over it, without knowing anything about it.

In short. I think Halo 3 looks better and better every day. Having played the beta i know that it is playing better than i expected already. No you are not a ps3 fanboy if you don't like halo. Yes it is stupid to say for sure what halo 3 will be like before it even comes out.

I think that even ps3 addicts have to addmit that this game will be “THE GAME” for our current generation of consoles as well as gamers. It will have record sales, and be the greatest FPS so far! Just admitt it and get over it, or buy it and a 360. Because you cant say that halo 2 wasnt the greatest of our last generation of consoles, because it damn well was! FINISH THE FIGHT 07

Interesting how people are writing “reviews” for this game even though it's still near on half a year till it comes out. But it'a always good to have a forum for popular opinion.

Most Xbox360 owners will be hoping that this will blast Sonys PS3 out of the water, cause to be honest, if this game can't then nothing on this system can. But how can 360 owners not be worried looking at how Halo 2 turned out??!!

The previous posters are probably fan boys, and no matter how bad this game turns out will stick behind it 100%. They probably even thought the story in Halo 2 was good!!

Halo 3 is one of the most hyped games of this year true, but after the dust settles this game will thouroughly dissapoint. Not a contender for Game of the Year, in fact by recent press publishings it looks to be a 4 horse race between Assasin's Creed, GTA 4, Mass Effect and (Shock Horror!!) God of War 2, a lowly PS2 game!

Closing comments: If you don't really care how the game turns out be sure to at least pre order the limited or legendary editions, I mean why pre order the regular edition when this will be the copy for sale even after release?! If you want a good game, wait till after release to see how this goes.

Halo 3 will sell 360's. it will set the bar for fps games, and will break halo 2's own record for sales. anyone who says this is overated, or junk is either a ps3 fanboy (they dont get halo so they say it sucks to make themselves feel better), or not a true gamer.

yes im getting this i bet im gonna play it all day and i heard there making master chief sprint and theyve made something called man cannon which so ive heard makes you do a phiscal attack that launches you at your opponents

not even intersted in this after what they did in halo 2, was looking forward to huge battles on earth and smart ai that worked togeather as shown in the preview video and then they go do the crap they did! long live halo 1! boo halo 2 and 3!!
