Description

Where is God? Why do some people experience Him while others just hear about Him? Why is God manifesting His glory in other countries through healings, visions, and other wonders-but not us? Hallelujah Handshake reveals ten miscues Mike Mills has personally observed that either keep God out of our churches or greatly limit His activity. Most of these are man-made traditions that have been accepted over the years as biblical. In this book, we take a closer look at some of these traditions and see the true repercussions of disobedience to the Lord. God is still alive and available, but we just have to sift through the smoke-screen to find Him. The favorite saying of churches, "That's the way we've always done it," is getting ready to be challenged!

Author Biography

Mike Mills is the senior pastor of Freedom Worship Center. He and his wife, Heather, and their two children, Trent and Avery, live in Milford, Delaware. Together, they lead Freedom Worship Center and Kids First Academy, a K-6 home school program through their church. They have reccently developed a Spanish and Urban Outreach Ministry in the local community. In 2003, God pulled Mike out of a life of drinking, lying, and anger and saved his family. Mike and Heather's vision is to get out in the fields and reap the harvest God has promised. They believe effective witnessing means meeting sinners right where they are. They are challenging believers to open their church doors, take their heads out from under the pillows, and take back God's chosen people, one person at a time. You can find out more about their ministry at www.freedomworship.net.
